Job brief

We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our website. Web developer responsibilities include building our website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function. This job will also include helping the team manage and maintain virtual workstations in our company virtualization environment.

Job responsibilities

• Write well designed, thoroughly tested, efficient code by using best web development practices
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Create and maintain web development documentation
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Cooperate with management team to match visual design intent
• Develop page layout assets.
• Maintain and manage licensed image and media assets by source.
• Creates templates to be used by writer and SEO.
• Implements site-wide design components.
• Helps management to maintain virtual machines by setting up/installing/maintaining/updating software.
• Helps management to setup users on virtual machines and managing licensing.
• Must have experience in WordPress.
• Experience in using Divi theme is a plus

Requirements

• A relevant diploma in a related field.
• Proficiency in web development software such as LAMP, WAMP, XAMP etc.
• Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
• Good understanding of content management systems.
• Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Excellent visual design skills.
• Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
• Creative and open to new ideas.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
• Excellent communication skills.

Experience

Minimum 2 years experience in web development.
